Keith "Satch" Kobee
Addison, TX

Hometown:  Originally Toledo,Ohio. Was living in Orlando, FL when he accepted the job at Pete's.

Personal:  Professional performing experience:

Performed in show bands as keyboard player on the road from 1976-89. Bands included "Clutch", "Super Gold", and "Legacy". Traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and some parts of Europe. Worked as bass player for "Derek and the Slammers" in Orlando,FL from 1991-92.

Musical abilities: main instrument--piano. Sings lead and harmony vocals and has worked as vocal arranger in various bands. Also doubles on: bass, guitar, baritone sax, bluegrass fiddle, and blues harmonica (and tries to play drums sometimes).

Other experience:
- has performed as solo act/one man band from 1989 to present...working mostly in Florida and other parts of the southern U.S.
- worked at Universal Studios as "Elwood" of the Blues Brothers show from 1990-1997 .
- performed in various accapella vocal groups in Florida including the "Hollywood Hi-Tones" for Universal Studios Florida and also the "Midshipmen" for Disney.
- has operated small recording studio as side venture since 1990.

Sing-a-long Piano: has worked as sing-a-long piano player since 1992. Worked at "Howl at the Moon Saloon" in Orlando from 1992 until 2001. Has worked at "Pete's Dueling Piano Bar" in Addison, Texas since January 2002. Presently lives in Dallas,Texas and works full time at Pete's (because they rule).

Favorite Songs to Play:  "Whatever the crowd will really like at the moment...I guess if you really need examples: 'Jack and Diane' and 'Do You Love Me.'"

Best Sure-Thing-Crowd-Pleasers:  "Devil Went Down to Georgia" and "Play That Funky Music" 4-ways.

Craziest Moment On Stage at Pete's:  Watching really wacky bachelorettes dance on top of the piano.
